Bible Class

                         “Into the Heart of God”
by Jean Vanier

     When:  Starting September 17, 2014
                  Wednesdays
                  9:30 to 10:30 AM
    Where: Convent Conference Room

This is an exploration into the Gospel of John. By retracing the actual steps through the Holy Land of the events and accounts of this gospel, Jean Vanier recreates a vivid and intimate portrait of what is often called the "mystical gospel." This series looks deep into the gospel, and in so doing brings us further into the heart of God, whose boundless love for humanity manifests itself in the life and times of Jesus.

Help prepare these children for their first day of school!!

Parents throughout the Archdiocese are now starting to shop for school supplies for their children.  You can help a child whose parents cannot afford school supplies, to start the school year right with fresh supplies and a new backpack !

For example, 10th and Mission Support Services seeks 35 backpacks for elementary children and 15 backpacks with supplies for high school students.

St. Joseph’s Family Center seeks 15 Target gift cards so families can purchase uniform supplies for their children.

Star Community seeks 15 backpacks with supplies.

Additional supplies needed by all programs include
backpacks, notebooks, pencils, pens, erasers, binders, pencil cases, crayons, wide-ruled lined paper, scientific calculators,  scissors, folders, lunch pails, highlighters, accordion folders, etc.
