Mass for the Sick

The Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, February 11, is coming up soon.  Pope John Paul II has designated this day as a day of prayer for those who are sick.  St. Brendan will have a special Anointing of the Sick after all our Saturday and Sunday masses on February 9 & 10.  It was Jesus who taught His disciples to pray and anoint the sick, so this is an extension of His ministry and care for the sick.  Please let your family and friends know, so that they can come and receive this Sacrament.  And if your sick family member or friend is unable to come to mass, please call the rectory at 415-681-4225, so that one of the priests can bring the Sacrament to them at a convenient time.
