Thank you for your continued, generous support of the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Your support during this coming Lenten Season will be very special to many folks who are less fortunate. 

April 13  - Palm Sunday (Parishioners attending the 5:00 pm, 9:30 am & 11:30 am masses are asked to gather in front of the church  - weather permitting - for the blessing of the palms and procession into the church)

April 17 -  Holy Thursday

                  Mass of Lord’s Supper.

                  Exposition & Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament follows

   

April 18 - Good Friday 

             12:00pm: Meditation on the Last 7 words of Christ by Sr. Alyssa Meis, Verbum Dei Missionary

             1:30pm: Veneration of Cross

             3:00-4:00pm: Confession

             7:00pm: Stations of Our Lady of Sorrows

April 19 - Holy Saturday

           8:00pm – Easter Vigil Mass

             (No 5pm Mass)

April 20: Easter Sunday

  Masses are at 7:00am, 8:00am, 9:30am & 11:30am

Display of a copy of the Saint John Bible

You are invited to view a copy of the Saint John Bible, the first handwritten, illuminated Bible in 500 years, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., on Sunday, March 23, 2014, at the Sisters of the Presentation Motherhouse, at 2340 Turk Boulevard, in San Francisco.

This copy of the first volume, The Gospels and Acts will be displayed with pertinent materials about the history, origin and art of this modern spiritual and artistic accomplishment.  The display is in honor of The Joy of the Gospel, Pope Francis’ encyclical, Evangelii Gaudium.

Your Bake Sale Chairs are preparing a French Adventure, and have allowed us to introduce a little Irish fun for an hour or two.  We will be selling Irish Whiskeys, Irish Coffee and home-made soda bread and we will have Irish

entertainment as well.

So, get your Irish on and join us for 5:00p.m. Mass on Saturday, March 8, 2014 and a reception immediately following in the Church Hall.
