FEAST OF SAINT MAGDALENE OF CANOSSA (May 8)

Magdalene was born in Verona, Italy in 1774 and belonged to the nobility but she
renounced her privileges and dedicated her life to serve the poor  in whom she saw Christ. Her motto was to make Jesus known, and her desire was to spread the Good News to the whole world. She transmitted her zeal and desire to her Sons and Daughters of Charity.

The Canossian Daughters and Sons of Charity are present in all the five continents  where they try to carry out the mandate of their holy foundress : Most of all make Jesus known. He is not loved because he is not known.

On Tuesday, May 8th, you are invited to the 7:30 AM Mass celebrated in honor of  St. Magdalene and to a reception in the Convent Conference room after the Mass.
