St. Brendan Parish News and Events

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

Since September of 2008 our St. Brendan St. Vincent DePaul Conference has been sending five volunteers help serve dinner at the MSC (Multi-Service Center) South.

The MSC (525 - 5^th Street @ Bryant) is the homeless shelter where our parishioners supply sandwiches on the 4^th Sunday of each month.

Our nights of service are the 1^st Monday and 3^rd, 4^th (just added), and 5^th Tuesdays of each month.

The dinner service has been a success and very much appreciated by the clients and staff at the MSC.

The time commitment is from 4:00 PM to no later than 7:30 PM.

Volunteers can either meet in the St. Brendan parking lot at 4:00 PM to car pool or meet at the site at 4:30.

Anyone in the parish would be most welcome to join our group. Commitment is strictly on an as-available basis.
